City & Beach of Lombok


Lombok, a small Indonesian island that offers uncrowded white sand beaches with crystal clear water and waterfalls that will leave you breathless, unique cultural activities and more adventures than you trip could fathom! Lombok has often been likened to nearby neighbour Bali, but at least a decade of development behind, with less traffic, less tourists, but equally incredible natural attractions. It really does have something for everyone and you can see it all with our City & Beach of Lombok package.


Day 1

  • This trip starts in Lombok, east of The Wallace Line. Wallace found out in the 19th century that fauna and flora differ greatly between West and East Indonesia. The imaginary line separating the two is called the Wallace line up to this day. It runs through the Lombok Strait, encompassing some of the deepest oceans in the region.

  • Before going to the hotel, start exploring Lombok. Several handicraft villages surround Mataram, the sleepy provincial capital.


Day 2

  • This tour will give you an opportunity to experience mountainous and natural beauty on the heights, combined with flat green area.

  • Start with a visit to Loyok, a village for fine quality of Lombok handcrafts, made from bamboo and palm leaves.

  • Sapiy offers cool air, terrace rice fields, an attractive forest and a breathtaking panoramas.

  • Sembalun, the traditional Sasak villages on the eastern slopes of Mount Rinjani, are cool and has beautiful panoramic views.

  • Continue to the magnificent waterfall where water drops from Mount Rinjani with a beautiful panorama.

  • Then to the traditional village located at the main gateway to Mount Rinjani, before ending on the beautiful windy road that offers a breathtaking panorama of the coastline and hills.

  • Breakfast at hotel.


Day 3

  • After breakfast, it will be a short drive to the local harbor for your traditional style boat to Gili Trawangan.

  • You will be dropped off on Gili Trawangan, a little tropical paradise, with superb white sandy beaches, clear water, colorful fish and beautiful coral reefs.

  • The rest of the day you are free to explore these magnificent surroundings.

  • Note: no motorized vehicles are allowed on the island. You can hire a cidomo (horse cart) if you like to explore the island.

  • Breakfast at hotel.


Day 4

  • Day at own leisure to enjoy the resort's facilities or self-exploration of the surroundings.

  • Breakfast at hotel.


Day 5

  • Day at own leisure to enjoy the resort's facilities or self-exploration of the surroundings.

  • Breakfast at hotel.


Day 6

  • Day at own leisure to enjoy the resort's facilities or self-exploration of the surroundings.

Day 8

  • After breakfast, take a cidomo ride back to the harbor, for check-in on a high speed boat, back to Bali.

  • This will take you just over two hours to Serangan area close to Sanur.

  • End of service.
