Dullstroom Altitude Training Cycling Weekend

High altitude mountain bike training. Wide dirt roads, dual track together with single track something for everyone. Accommodation, nutrition talk, core and stretching discussion and supervised training, with a backup vehicle and a feed station on the long route. Two or three groups to cater for different levels of ability. Both team leaders have completed 12 and 10 Absa Cape Epic’s , Sani, Berg n Bush, Trans Cape, Cape Pioneer Trek. Still racing competitively in their age group. Bonny is a sports therapist, nutritionist and a kinesiologist.
Groups: No bigger than 10 to 15 riders.
Maximum 30 riders
ITENARARY IN DETAIL
Arrive in Dullstroom.
Meet and greet sign indemnity forms and collect ride info.
Briefing before a 2 hour ride of open dirt roads Assess our different levels. Discuss Bike set up and other cycling techniques if required.
Enjoy drinks after ride and discuss the ride.
Brief outline on basic technical skills and the reason for rideing a base program in the beginning of a season.
(warm jacket needed so bring to the ride)
Sport nutrition talk
Before and after the race,. Core, stretching discussion and demo.
