Croatia as a tourist destination is well known for its coastal summer holiday resorts, with many popular attractions such as visits to historical and cultural sites, boating, diving or just relaxing, but many of  these resorts are also close to a number of excellent bird watching areas. Spot a long list of birds and experience their various habitats from rocky habitats and exposed cliffs to mesophilic grasslands and shorelines.


Day 1

  • Arrival

  • Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in the Zadar region.

  • Afternoon at own leisure.


Day 2

  • Zrmanja

  • After breakfast explore the beautiful Zrmanja canyon and cliffs.


Day 3

  • National Park Paklenica

  • Discover the rocky habitats and exposed cliffs of the National Park Paklenica.


Day 4

  • Island of Pag

  • Ornithological reservations Velo and Kolansko Blato of the Island of Pag wetland and swampy habitats.


Day 5

  • Ravni Kotari

  • Area of Ljubac, Ravni Kotari open habitats.


Day 6

  • Abandoned fields of the Krka National Park

  • Lentic and lotic waters, dry and mesophilic grasslands, shoreline plants, pastures, arable and abandoned fields of the National Park Krka.


Day 7

  • Vrana Lake Nature Park

  • Swampy habitat with flooded meadows and reeds of the Vrana Lake Nature Park.


Day 8

  • Departure

  • Transfer to Split airport for your flight home.
